Hi, I’m Rebekka! I’ve had a love of science and a knack for drawing my whole life. I had originally planned to go to medical school to become a surgeon until my high school art teacher inspired me to combine my interest in medicine with my artistic talent through medical illustration. I graduated in 2018 from the Cleveland Institute of Art with a BFA in Biomedical Art and an emphasis in Animation. I like to say I have the mind of a scientist with the heart of an artist because I love the process of research and careful study while creating work, not only for biomedical visualization but for my portrait and design work as well. It’s my hope that I can use my passion, skill, and perspective to leave a positive mark on people’s lives.
